Rand's Perk & Environmental Services, Inc. was formed in 1988 by Randy Knesnik. It started as a small, family-owned business and continues to be so to this day.

After graduating from the School of Forestry at Syracuse University with a degree in Resource Management, Randy saw the potential for a company that performed soil percolation testing and septic system design in the beautiful a region of Northeast Pennsylvania: Pike County.

In 1989 Randy became a certified Sewage Enforcement Officer (SEO) allowing him to design septic systems for the management and removal of consumer waste. This certification has strict requirements in order to keep members of it's order up-to-date on the latest technology for the removal and cleaning of waste management systems.

Rand's Perk & Environmental Services, Inc. expanded it's business strategy in 1997 by providing radon mitigation services. As a certified radon mitigator, Randy is qualified to install a system that is guaranteed to lower radon levels to levels considered safe by the EPA.
